May I request some feedback on some of the shots I recently took? I recently (2 months ago) started to play around my camera, lenses, etc however noticing that my pictures aren't good enough now compared to when I browse through other POTN member's shots. I mean, some of you guys have an amazing talent and now each time I take a shot, I, myself, am not satisifed.

Anyhow, may I get some feedback on how I could have improved some of these shots? These were all taken in AV mode & ISOs were changed (which can be found in additional info at the bottom right.

#1 Not a lot in focus. And to make it worse, the only thing in focus is the exact wrong thing to be in focus. I was trying to make sense of the perspective change from the top of the glass to the bottom. The top of the glass gives the impression that the camera is looking somewhat down. The bottom of the glass clearly shows the camera is level. It was not till I figured out that the FAR SIDE of the glass is in focus. Makes it uncomfortable to look at.

#2) Again not enough in focus. That that is in focus is uninteresting. And it's off plumb.

#3) Nice lighting, nice mood. If it were mine, I would clone the reflections of the flash off the glass. Too strong of an attractor - takes the eyes away from the label, which is the most interesting thing to look at.

#4) I assume this got posted by mistake.

So, all in all, one for four.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried my best to hold the camera still but was wondering why I was still getting hazy or not in focus images. Maybe my spot-meter was pointing at the upper-right corner of the glass?
2) Focus was at the back instead of the back.
3) There was no flash... just a flash-light pointing towards the bottle. :)
4) Yes. Not supposed to be there since it was totally out of focus.

Thank you again.
