Scott, nice shots! Indeed, authentic is the word... looks like he may even have some dried blood on his armour...

Am a bit concerned about the horses -- shouldn't they have had more protection especially on their heads... those lances look like they could hurt them if ones aim was off...

The lances had balsa wood tips, and there were big points penalties for hiting the horse. I didn't see any hurt.

Good for the horses... though I've been hit with balsa wood before (one of those gliders) and it can hurt!

Thanks for the pics!

Hi, I managed to find this thread while I was searching for "Parallel Imported" and "Fair Go" in google, as I was thinking about writing a letter to Fair Go regarding my experiences with them, and was wondering if people have done so already (I've actually emailed them since reading this thread).

I've got a thread up currently on nzgames.com about it,

http://www.nzgames.com …p?t=72291&referrerid=5646 (external link)

feel free to read it. I'm in the process of taking them to the disputes tribunal to get my $400 back as they're refusing a refund which I'm requesting, on account of them taking well over a month to recognize a fault in my phone (which I replicated with ease to the service manager earlier today) and also for taking so long to do so.

I want to lay the smack down, and I need support from people who've had bad experiences with them to do so. I'm trying to figure out how to do this so I'll keep this page updated if you guys are interested?

Please do keep us updated. I just read through that thread you posted, seems like you now have their store credit? What good is store credit?!?

Take it to the disputes tribunal. There is a fee (you cant claim it back or refund it) but it varys according to the value of the phone. for $400 it might be as little as $25.

You simply fill out the form explaing your claim, and send it off. They well send you both a summons, and sit you down in a room with a ref to sort it out.

My advice, is to fill out the form, and wait till you get your summons in the mail. Then call up and talk to Tayne (as thats who the summons will be deliverd to), Explain to him that if you simply swaps your store credit for cash, like you should have been given in the first place, you will cancel the claim.

If he declines, disputes tribunal will absolutely find in your favour.

In any case, once you have filled out your disputes tribunal form, write a letter / email to fairgo, and explain to them all of the above. Im positive they get 100 complaints about them a week already, so you might be lucky in getting a response from them.

Hope this helps!

Matt (who's last disputes tribunal win was for $4200)

Matt
