The trampoline shadow bugs me but otherwise I love this shot. It was on portrait setting and I grabbed it really fast and snapped. That is my niece pulling my son in the wagon. :)

Just followed one of your other threads... very nice shots. I, too, am a beginning and learning what I can as I go along. I am finally shooting on manual and am just about ready to shoot in raw! That wagon shoot is cute... I like the dof you ended up with.

Looking forward to more shots of that baby! :)

Thanks. The ones of my daughter are pretty boring. I can't wait until she's sitting up to do better ones. That's why I'd love any tips on posing a little 3 month old. I get tired of the feet/hands etc...shots...here's one I took the other day. It's about all she does at this point. lol

That's a perfect capture of that age though! The vacant stare and random bubble blowing! hahaha lol

Hi, was wondering what light source you used for the photo. The skin tone and colours look really good.

I have a 3 month old and i know exactly what you mean.. at least they're not up and running off impatiently! :)

My Canon can.. I just need to find out how

She was actually in her swing next to a window-so the lighting was the sun shining in on her. :)
If I notice sun coming in in a certain window I usually try to get a picture of my kids then because I stink at indoor pictures-the flash always pops up and makes a shadow across my pics....so I'm trying to figure out how to get good indoor pictures w/out the flash.

Oh and thanks for taking out the stork bites. They are part of her but honestly they make me crazy when I see them in pictures. So thank you and no I do not mind at all! :)

mstracy: looks like your thread got hijacked big time. I worked on the stork bites a little bit but didnt want to go overboard and look fake. I also warmed it up a little bit.
