Long caravans of camels gather in the early morning at Lake Assale, a salt lake in Ethiopia's Danakil Depression, to pick up their cargo of salt. They then transport it to markets in the highlands, as they have done for 3000 years. Lake Assale, along with nearby Dallol, is perhaps the hottest place on Earth, based on average annual temperatures, and lies around a hundred metres below sea level.

great shot. composition is fantastic and you did a great job setting the mood. having been to Ethiopia a few times, I've never had a chance to visit the Denakil Depression. Definitely on my list next time assuming time permits.
