I had placed this in the G15 slot and did not get any comments - so I am trying here.

I go into areas internationally where my Canon 5D and lenses draw attention that I don't need.

Therefore I thought I would carry a smaller camera in my bag when it would be more conducive to use than a larger DSLR.

I am leaving for India in a few weeks, so I have been playing with the G15,
This was shot in RAW ISO 320, F1.8, 1/30
What do you think?

I guess its fine as far as the camera goes. The picture really doesn't have a point though.

the G15 works if you have enough light

The background looks busy. Is there no way to manipulate the depth of field with this camera? (I don't know the camera). If not, I think you'll be taking snaps instead of photographs (sometimes they'll do, depends what you want the camera for).

The subject looks to be in focus but at f1.8, I'd hope for a little shallower dof (length of lens?, length equivalent?). At 1/30, you either have a steady hand, a good tripod or rested the camera on a table :)
