Hi I'm taking a trip with my 10D --anyone know about the voltage in the Philippines ? Do I need a convertor to recharge my batteries? Also carrying my laptop-- Dell Latitude C600, Any info would be appreciated! Thanks

They run 220V @ 60 Hz over there. Most charger will automatcially switch between 110 and 220V but you should check your charger just to be on the safe side. You'll see it marked on the charger itself or on the power adapter that plugs into the charger.

If you read the back of your charger, it's down for the pretty much the whole world. I charged my 20D battery in Fiji many times, the only thing I needed was an adpater as the 'prongs' are different

Yup... Leo is right, our juice is 220V, 60 hertz.
