Here are some recent shots of the anna's hummingbird.

Shot with the 7D and 400mm f/5.6.

The hummingbird shots were taken with my camera on a tripod and triggered remotely. I had the camera pre-focused on the flower. If I was out to take the pictures myself I would have gotten better pictures, but it was just too cold to stay outside :)

WOW!
those are great.
Im not sure how you would make them better.
the colors and detail in the tail of the coopers is amazing.
and 3200 ISO!!

The hummers are awesome too. Blew mine away.

Jo, what nice work. I would be happy with your results. Also, the cooper's came out great. Shooting such high ISO's with outstanding results intrigues me. Mainly, because I shoot a lot in similar light as you,,,, dark. LOL. I'm a new 7D owner and if you feel like it, I would like to jump on Jeremy's band wagon and get a PM on your processing. Thanks for sharing your shots.
