Yeah, I suppose that was a little pissy on my part.
The pics of the little girl are demonstrative of the lens' capabilities, isolation and bokeh, and she is very cute.

I keep coming here hoping to see more creative photography, but that's on me.
I'll unsubscribe.

Cheers

we all have off days so don't sweat it. can't really see the point of unsubscribing over a couple of off topic(ish) pics after 109 pages of pretty relevant images tho. dlee13's pics are outstanding with with lens, so look to him for inspiration instead.

Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it :D

I have hardly been using my camera or this lens for months now, every time I see someone posting in here though it makes me want to get out and shoot again since it reminds me of how fun this lens is to use!

Decided to snap a pic of my video card as I was cleaning out my PC this morning. I've been impressed with this lens so far.

Thanks, XFX makes amazing GPUs I've never had an issue with any of the ones I've owned.

I've got an XFX PSU and might look into their PSU's. I plan to do a full rebuild next year so will be using this lens for a lot of product shots when I do :D

Awesome! The first two look almost like a sea anemone or similar marine organism!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Thanks! I was trying out focus-pulling on the first 2 shots.

I love it! Just wish the tops of the bursts didn't get clipped!
