Wasn't sure if this was the right forum... I thought maybe it fell under the "people doing this and that" category?

Anyways, this has become a New Years Eve ritual every here for us. We snowmobile to the lake where the fireworks are displayed then go for a good rip afterwards before settling in at home for some drinks and grub. It's a good time!

Seems to be fine tradition. The photo is well composed. Great colors.

Really like the photo except the color of the sky seems too un-natural. I've never seen a brown sky.

Low ice fog, mixed with warm city lights, exploding red fireworks, and very cold temperatures made for a very reddish-brown sky. This photo is actually very true to how the eye perceived it.

This is a great shot and one of those images where it's easy to feel like you were there. Nicely done.

Cool picture!

This is very true about the sky, I had the exact same conditions one night at 2am in San Francisco. This is straight out of camera. So yes it is possible to have a brown sky in the right conditions

Nice capture. Including the people on the snowmobiles takes it one step up from run of the mill fireworks images.
