The composition looks strange to me in the first. You cropped at the waist, and cropped off the bottom of the clogs. The light fall off on the background looks really odd to me as well. I'm really not sure what you were going for with it,

I have mixed feelings about the second one. I think the perspective is what throws me off, I would have gotten a little bit lower I think. The lighting looks decent enough, though maybe a bit on the harsh side.

Thanks for that :) The composition of the first one like that to put the emphasis on the clogs, Dutch wooden shoes.
