I've been desperately trying to wind in a wood related gag about the banding on Canon's sensors, and my attempts to make then varnish, but despite many tries at polishing, I've just got nothing.

Jalal - I've got your camera though. 5D Mark Tree:

(good luck with getting it resolved though)

Camera, some lenses, too little time, too little talent

With as much as these things cost I'm surprised they don't have exotic wood inlays as aftermarket accessories.

I wood never buy anything with wood inlay. Lamborghini with wood inlay...take it back, give me a Honda. :P

OP, did you buy this with a credit card? Could you not just dispute the charges and let Dell sort it out with the CC company?

Dell is the CC company, OP used his Dell preferred account. Dell is the only one to deal with in this case.

I refrained from commenting in this thread but the 5D Mark Tree won me over. Hope you get your camera soon OP. Other than this thread sprouting up, it can't be much fun going through this.

When this is all over ask the OP for his "new flooring" as you need to replace grandmas carpet pronto :p

Image if OP gets the camera and then a month later, he wants to redo flooring and orders a few boxes and it ends up being a 5D Mark tree with 24-105 L mug.
