Seems it's about time to box this thread up and ship it to Ken Rockwell. I'll get the tape.

I haven't read this entire thread, but if the OP was unlucky enough to have gotten 2 boxes of flooring I would have expected others to have been victims of this also. Have we heard of this happening to anyone else? I'm sure if it did Dell would be hearing about it>

That is a good summary, with alot of sappy posts that branched off into other topics. We just need to axe ourselves how long this will go on. I think this thread will die, bud I doubt it. Knot that I care, because I am probably going to just plane ignore it, or just unsubscribe. I wonder what the panel of mods think about this post.

(had to get one more reply in) :D

Curse you TeamSpeed!

I promised myself I would not post in this thread anymore nor return to it. However, I read your post and couldn't stopped laughing. You floored me.!!!!!! Brilliant I must say, but I put full blame on you for dragging me back in. Lol

Assuming the OP is scamming, the big risk for OP would be if Dell actually inspected the contents of the second one and then shipped it to him in which case the OP would run a HUGE risk of getting caught in their web. If the OP's intention was to scam, he would have smartly stopped after the first one and accepted the second camera and moved on.

I conclude that the OP is not a scammer but the one being scammed here. I just presented this theory because there still remains some doubt about the OP here.

Many criminals get caught because they're too greedy. Not saying that the OP is a scammer though.

Anyway, even if Dell checked the content before shipping the second box out, it still cannot be concluded that the OP is the thief, even though how much we believe it would be likely in that scenario. But I do agree that, if he's the scammer himself, it would have been smart for him to stop after the first one.

That said, I honestly couldn't tell or conclude who is at fault here, even the OP. I don't know him enough to know whether or not he's genuine. Many of you may, but I don't.

Stay tuned, my 2014 Corvette (some assembly required) just showed up, 17 boxes in all. I will formally be doing an un-boxing this evening. Just purchased new batteries and film for my Polaroid camera. I'm so worried now since reading this thread as my neighbors had a flooring truck parked in front of his home for the last 3 hours.

No argument there, but how did Adorama get into this absurd discussion?

If Dell checked the content and the OP is not lying then the shipping company is the culprit?

I'm gonna take a stab that Dell shipped a returned item and the prior buyer is the real scammer. Dell shouldn't be selling returned items, at least not without thorough inspection, but it's possible.

If I were Dell; I'd want fingerprints of the contents.

Return-for-refund of a brick in a box is exactly why I'm not selling my lenses except in-person.

The poor OP is pining over his wooden camera while you guys are a bunch of cut ups with warped senses of humor. And, my level of incense grew when I saw how this thread has sprouted more bad wood puns than you can shake a stick at ... and I do knot intend participate in such nonsense. I am just hoping that this does knot lead to splinter threads. The OP got screwed and deserves a purpleheart for all the times that he has been hammered, cut down, and chopped up.
