the chicks are out

well, some of the chicks have hatched, but I couldn't get any good shots of the cattle egret chicks, but someone smiled on me, and I got these Ibis chicks. Went back a few days later, and some had moved camp, and it just didn't work out for any good shots.
I think Ibis ugly compared to cattle egrets, but I tell you, the ibis chicks are cuter, the egret chicks look like they are spawned by the devil, such angry looking faces, and when poor mum came and fed a brood of 3 the other day, they justabout ate her! Talk about agressive! Never seen anything like it before.

and you can see where the egret chicks get their angry look from!

Don, maybe our ibis are a bit different to yours. These are australian white ibis. Lol, our pelicans are white too!
