Came across these guys just chillin while out hiking. I rounded a corner and boom they were right there, I was almost on top of them .Normally Im afraid I will spook them, so I don't try to get that close, but since I was already there, I figured what the heck.
This is how I came across her initially. She watched me intently but lay there for a few minutes while I snapped away.
The grass in front was annoying but it was a little too close do do much about it. I wanted to get her and her fawns in the same shot. She tolerated my presence, but I doubt she would tolerate me moving grass out of the way
and a bit too much to clone out.Her fawns were just chillin too. Aren't they cute?
Giving the legs a stretch. Who knew a 50mm 1.8 would be a good wildlife lens? heh. This is full frame, except to crop it to 8x10
After exhausting my angles, a noise elsewhere in the forest, caught there attention, and they left.
