Hi,

I remember half a year ago or so I saw a thread somewhere either in this forum or the pictures forum (experimental maybe?) that was titled "Post your ____ pictures" where ____ was the name of a plugin for photoshop. Most of the pictures were of flowers that were run through this plugin that produced brush-strokey looking crystalline pictures. Some were black and white. The results were amazing.

The plugin was free, and I believe it was made by Adobe, but I am not sure. Also, the plugin wasn't a simple filter--I seem to recall that you might have to do some programming or write some logic for it.

Back then I had LR 3 and Photoshop CS3, and I remember I couldn't run the plugin because I needed newer versions. Now I have LR4 and CS6 so I really want that plugin!

If anyone knows the name of the plugin or has a link to that thread I would REALLY appreciate it!!! :D

shoot.... i just read up more on this and i guess the pixel bender processor has been discontinued, and i guess this oil paint filter was just a part of that. lots of people seem upset. oh well.
