Absolutely not. You have posted many helpful posts. Go back and look at ACDCRocks posts in this thread and tell me they are not troll-like.

I did re-read my post and I guess I didn't narrow it down enough. Sorry about that. But if you had left the last part of that paragraph in the quote you would see that I was not talking about you or the other very helpful posters.

And thanks. I'm having fun with the pole.

Thanks, guys and gals. I've been doing the keyboard equivalent of biting my lip. I understand you dSLR guys mean well, but from our point of view, you are Trolls.

I know you didn't mean to direct this comment to all of us, because certainly most contributing to this thread fully understand that the G6 with a 430EX is more than enough camera for this particular situation. Many of us that post on this forum don't bother going to a particular section and instead click "New Posts" to read anything new and interesting, then contribute is someone needs some help.

The OP doesn't need a DSLR, we just have to dig a bit deeper to see what parameter was set wrong. This is quite an interesting problem, and frankly I can't see how any of us with a DSLR (or SLR or rangefineder) couldn't have the same issue.

Personally I wish I had a G6 to add to my gear, it's a beauty of a camera.
