A Sunrise, a beach and a Rollercoaster

Another 4 a.m start and some commando moves to avoid the police had me waiting for a sunrise shot of the Jet Star Coaster, complete with its new flag- mounted yesterday when a local climbed the coaster to remind our politicians of the promises they made about helping fund restoring the shore. He was arrested. Again I spent too much of my day in the company of the police, after there 'dukes of hazzard" style attack.

Lovely shots. Did you edit out the pier on the additional one? The bluring of the ocean in the first and additional shot give it that wonderful feel.

Stunning series. It would be hard to pick a favorite, but I really like the close up with the birds and the last one is a close second.

Thanks. I removed the last piece of the pier in the last frame, as I felt despite the colour change of the rising sun, they were still too similar, even though there was already far less pier in the frame

I like it better with the old coaster sitting alone. Nice work.
