Just wondering if anyone has tried out this combo? I went ahead and bought the LX-5 with it's plate (still deciding if I wanna use the RRS lever clamp or not) but haven't purchased any tripod legs. I'll be upgrading from the Manfrotto 055XPROB and sold the RC2 plate earlier last year to move to Arca Swiss. I researched through mostly the carbon fiber models of Manfrotto, some of the Feisol, and Benro and decided possibly on buying the Benro C2680T. I believe I'm still 5'7" ..pretty short. I'm trying to stay away from Gitzo mostly because of the $500+ price tag and the fact that I used my tripod possibly 10 times in a year? I think I didn't use my Manfrotto as much because it was heavy, sturdy like a rock, but heavy and left it at home at any gig I went to. I wanna change that this year so I went looking for a new tripod since I want to be able to carry it on my Flipside 300 / Flipside 15L. I'm not a pro by all means, but do have some paid portraits but mostly hobbyist if anything... will this combo be okay for me or should I look into something better? I'm trying to not exceed $400 and stay in the low $300 if possible.

The stuff I'll be using:

5D3 gripped and/or 60D gripped (I hear it's not smart to use a battery grip on a tripod but I see photos of everyone else doing it??)

16-35mm f/2.8L II
Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM A1
Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II

Thanks for the help~
