This shot shows a Cornish bagpiper. Cornwall is in Southwestern England and has a unique identity including its own language Kernewek and flag, typically a white cross on a black field.

This is a crossed stereo image. View from a distance of 2 or 3 feet. The left eye looks at the right image and the right eye looks at the left image. Do not strain or go bug eyed. Relax. A central image will appear giving stereo depth. Hope you like it. Comments invited. :D

That's great, Cleo! :D Why not look at my other 3D stereo posts? Type 3D into the search function to get them. Thanks for responding!

Still can't do this. If i hold a pencil between my eyes and the screenand focus on the pencil I can see the third, middle image and the little I can see of this does seem to have more depth. Trouble is - when I move the pencil out of the way my eyes then just see the two individual images.

Well, you're getting something. Storeman! :) You are losing the stereo effect because you are focussing on the pencil not the image itself.

The technique once mastered is like riding a bike: a skill never forgotten. Relax. The image will pop and I bet in your excitement you will lose it. But then you will be able to fuse time and time again. Look at my other stereos different folks find different shots easiest to begin with. Keep trying and thanks for responding! :D
