Shooting In Club - Questions

Hello,

My friend is having her birthday in a club and she asked me to be the photographer. I'm just not sure if I have the right equipment. My equipment is in my sig, so please let me know your thoughts.

What Frank says - good advice.

Also practice with your flash bouncing it in that particular environment or similar venues. Depending upon the room you can bounce off the ceiling, side walls, back wall, etc. depending upon the capability of the unit.

I actually have a velcro bounce card that I can use if the ceiling is too high.

You're welcome David - it probably will be too dark for metering also, so you'll likely have to shoot in manual, drag your shutter and have ETTL fill in the exposure with your flash.

You have to choose whether this will be "practice" in which case you can experiment, or whether you will be "pro", in which case you will need to do some practice!

I myself pretty much set myself in "practice" mode when people ask me to shoot events like that!
