Just had a little time this week to take some shots at Bunche Beach which is on the mainland right before you go onto Sanibel Island.

The tide was the lowest I have ever seen so I was walking a pretty good ways from the shore to reach these birds.

Really great stuff Garry. This looks like a great location for low angle shooting, I might have to ad this location to my list.

Great shots, Garry. It looks quite mucky where you had to walk out. Did you see any Skimmers out there, I hear they are, sometimes.

Great images Garry. I keep forgetting there are more good waters edge areas along the gulf coast. I seem to get stuck on Fort Desoto but your site and Sanibel are also excellent.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. The sand is firm there. I normally wear water shoes but I had on a pair of Low top Merrills and I picked my way out a couple of hundred yards no problem.

No skimmers, but I have seen them there many times.

Lots of nice areas nearby for shooting. Haven't tried Bunche yet, but will have to check it out sometime soon. Nice series of shots.
