I ordered a Meike grip from this hong kong outfit through Amazon. The expected delivery date when I ordered was about 1/15 (30 days). I looked at Amazon yesterday and it said the item had shipped. However, when I clicked the tracking button, it said the grip was delivered USPS on 12/28. Strange.

I contacted dslrkit and got a response that it had indeed been delivered, I should go look in my mailbox, maybe I missed it. Yeah, right. I replied I didn't receive it and just got a reply that they are sure it was delivered sometime b/w 1/10 and 1/28. Well, 1/28 is a couple of weeks into the future and I wish I had the powers this guy did.

I'm not sure if there is a language barrier issue and USPS is just wrong or if I should go ahead and file a dispute with Amazon. Suggestions?

Did you call USPS? Sounds like the isue is with them. Shipping from HK however is always an adventure because there are tw shippers involved, one to get it here and the other to deliver it to your door. In your case it sounds as if Dslrkit had it picked up by HK post, they delivered to USPS, and USPS delivered to you. Is it possible someone took it from your mailbox?

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.
