What am I looking at? Dropped my 50D into the dogs water dish. Got it out quickley, pulled both batteries and let everything dry for 2 days while sitting on top several dozen dri packs. Put everything back together with a different lens and get Err 50 in every mode except Live View. Live view works as well as all the LCD's and buttons as far as I can tell. When I press he sutter in Live View I get Err 30. What happened? I did a search but want to make sure. Any idea of the cost to replace the shutter if that is the problem?

My camera doesn't take great pictures.....I do! :rolleyes:

What camera? My 7D displayed an error 20 and it cost 220 bucks to replace the mirror box.

Error 50 is electronic control malfunction you can read more about the error codes here:
