I am heading to the Phoenix area toward the end of March for a wedding. I will have a free day or so to get out and do some shooting.

I am looking for some suggestions on places to shoot that time of year in that area. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Stop by Page and hit Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend if you can. One of my favorite areas and Antelope Canyon is something that has to been seen.

I will look it up on the map and see if I can make that happen

I agree, Sedona is beautiful. Worth the drive. I stayed four days last November, and that was enough.

If you can't get there, just a little north of Phoenix is a lake called Lake Pleasant. My son took me on a quad ride through the park there, and it is beautiful. Desert terrain, cactus, wild donkeys and light blue water. Many opps for picture taking. If you find my lens cap, let me know....lol.

Within Phoenix you'll find lots of desert terrain in city parks. In Mesa, there's a cactus garden that is wonderful to walk through and take pics. Do a little web searching and you'll find enough to keep you busy for months of shooting.

Enjoy your trip.
