please critique - Castlerock Colorado - new to landscape photography

Hello all..
I appreciate your reading this thread.
I am new to landscape photography and I would like your feedback on these images. Please let me know if you like any or how I can improve these shots.

I like the first, but think it needs a little more contrast. I see what you were going for in the 2nd shot, and probably looked good at the scene, but the color of the bushes is flat. I like the B&W in the third.

What are your thoughts on the composition?
Any tips for creating better shots?
