It really isnt the camera

Here is a thread to display the BAD shots your took, just before the GOOD one! Then explain why the good shot turned out even though your first shot should have just been deleted. Sometimes, Im amazed at what crap shots a 4000 dollar camera setup can give you!

So, I was running back and forth through an alley way with this girl. It was midday sun and the shadows and light were just terrible here. Here is a shot that well, leaves much to be desired. The background is gross, the light is terrible and well, you see it.

I like the thread idea

But not very flattering for the little girl..!

My bad shots serve a purpose...they are always my fault. Albeit, the fault of the camera's idiosyncasies coupled with my not being cognizant of those idiosyncasies.

There's an easy reason why that's a bad shot. It's OOF which isn't necessarily the camera's fault and she isn't smiling or anything. Kind of looks scared but the idea is good.
