Here is a thread to display the BAD shots your took, just before the GOOD one! Then explain why the good shot turned out even though your first shot should have just been deleted. Sometimes, Im amazed at what crap shots a 4000 dollar camera setup can give you!
So, I was running back and forth through an alley way with this girl. It was midday sun and the shadows and light were just terrible here. Here is a shot that well, leaves much to be desired. The background is gross, the light is terrible and well, you see it.

Now, coming the other way, there was light filtering down through a canopy of trees. All I needed was to get her to stop just inside the shade and be cute! So, we played chase for a minute, I found a giant acorn on the ground and bet her she couldnt get it from me. I ran way ahead, set it exactly where I wanted her to stop and then setup the shot with myself in the sunlight. Here is the SOOC shot and the image after edit. Setup, light and post processing are all so vital to shots.
