I can't get him to sit still when the camera is out, so OOF shots are par for the course. His shoulder, however, is perfectly focused! :confused:

Very nice. I love the second one! And I understand completely as I have a hyperactive 10 year old. Try using AI Servo! It works well for moving targets. :)

heehee.. with the 20d and that 50 1.4 take five at a time with custom funtion 4 set and hold the * down the whole time:).. I love that lens so much. Great shots though and I actually love the second one! I would much rather see attitude than something that is faked or forced:)

The 50 1.4 was my first lens so I had no idea how good I had it until I tried out some others. :) I agree with the idea of getting a good candid vs. a posed position. Thanks for the comments :)
