Cute. The only problem I see is that you blew out the sky. I do that all the time too but I'm getting better at that. Meter for the sky and use a fill flash to light up the subject.

I usually expose for the brightest part of the sky (not the sun though) and adjust my flash accordingly.

Fix the crop above your Nephews head, crop it about a cm above him and you should be good, non photographers will not care about the sky being blown out. I think its a fantastic shot.

Great shot regardless of sky. I would have tried to balance the sky and used fill like mentioned too, but you really caught the little guys personality there. That makes the shot.

My observation is the exposure is a tad high on the boy. I agree you can afford to crop the top a bit (and the left side). I would also tone down the saturated background....and clone out that building
