Just ordered this because the rolling camera bag I use to transport my gear is barely hanging on by the seams and it's a little too small to carry all my cameras and lenses. I end up putting 3 lenses in my Think Thank Lens Changer 3.

What sold me on this bag was that I can store the 70-200 f2.8 IS MKII vertically. The same goes for the 200L f2 IS I should be getting in the mail in a few days. Same with the speedlights. This should be a huge space saver. I sold a bunch of lenses I wasn't using last year (Down to 7 lenses. Hahaha!) so I am hoping I can fit everything in except my lighting gear in this thing.

Anyone using this bag? It's Think Tank so I know the quality will be there. Just want to get more opinions, although I already bought the bag! :)

I think that is the one I have and I love it. Getting the 200 again? Awesome!

Yep, awesome bag. Huge capacity but doesn't seem that big, easy to use, lots of pockets and dividers. Best bag ever.

Nicksan, I applaud your downsizing, but I can't believe you sold the 24L. You did good work with that thing!

Also, let us know how you like that bag.

Nicksan, I applaud your downsizing, but I can't believe you sold the 24L. You did good work with that thing!

Also, let us know how you like that bag.

The last few weddings I did, the 24L stayed in the bag and I usually end up using that lens for detail shots so I felt it was expendable, especially since I added the Sigma 35 and I am now beginning to feel 35mm is far more versatile. (Bought and sold the 35L 3 times. I think I'm sticking with the 35mm prime this time around! :))

I scratched the TSE itch with the 45. I never use the 135L. The only lens I had reservations about selling was the 8-15L. It was a fun lens. But in the end I felt it was an absolutely necessary lens.

The 200L f2 IS, obviously, is a serious investment and I'll be honest and say it was a "want" more than a "need". But I've lusted for that lens ever since I sold it when I switched to Nikon for a year. I somehow knew I would be reunited with it. It's THAT good. But I'll be using my 70-200 more. That's just a reality. I'll bring it along on weddings. 200mm f2 certainly gives a unique look. :)

Anyways, I will let you know what I think of the bag when I get it and fit everything in.

See, I love that you can store the 70-200 vertically. I think that's AWESOME. That's the f2.8 version right? Same goes for the speedlights. AWESOME!!!

yeah. the 2.8 non-IS.

downside is that it wont fit in the overhead of commuter planes. so i had to buy a think tank airport commuter backpack when i had to fly to hawaii for a wedding last month. fully loaded, it's a bit too heavy. but the built in locks are amazing.

Yeah, I've already got the airport antidote which fits a good amount of gear. That's what I brought with me to Japan last year to shoot a relative's wedding.

yeah, then you'll love this bag. it's not perfect for every occasion but this bag plus a lens changer is amazing for weddings. gets locked and cable locked to my car before we get to the wedding. gets cable locked at the venue. no longer do i have to worry about my bag walking off.

Yeah, that's kinda nice, especially with the 200L in there!
Looking forward to it!
