The Detroit Red Wings had their first practice at Compuware Arena, which is normally home to my hometown Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League (fyi, we have Whalers season tickets). The practice was open to the public, so my wife and I decided to check it out, and I brought along my Canon 5D3 and 70-200mm f/4 L IS lens. Here are a few shots.
