We all have different criterion as what makes a superb/good/awesome/perfect photograph. Some look for light, some for sharpness while others like the motive or the setting of the photograph. There are so many criterions in each indivduel out there when it comes to taste and like/dislike.
So i would like to hear what you look for in a photo (taken by someone else) that makes it great or in some way attracts your attention to it.

^ just like what rick said, sometimes it's over exposed sometimes it's under all that wont matter, if it's telling me something then it will get my 5 stars :)

I like the oddball or different approaches. I save the photos in magazines that jump out at me for inspiration. I could care less about histograms, etc. Subject matter, for me, makes me stop and ponder. I like wide angle shots with a defined foreground, for instance.
