Let me know

Some older photos I found on my hard drive for a flyer I decided to play around with and try different editing and such.
Let me know what you think, any areas of improvement.

Just looking at it quickly, the lighting doesn't look even and the crop is very weird to me...leaves me wanting to see the rest of her hair at least. Her being dead center too isn't helping much. Reframing by cropping in tighter may be just the ticket here.

That being said, the B&W conversion looks pretty good to me.

I WANT to be pulled into looking at her eyes but im not. Instead I focus on her mouth and nose area when I first see it. Just feels a bit flat to me. Perhaps adding some vignette will make the background seem less flat?

The lighting was off I was practicing on trying to blow out the backdrop to make it white and smooth but it didn't go as planned. I try some more methods when I get back to my machine.

Also, the hair has some artifacts. Oversharpened?

Yea, went a lil over board with the sharpening tool

Not too bad. I'd crop out part of the right side, behind her head. She's too centered, but it isn't bad other than that.
