Buy a used Canon 7D or wait for the next camera in this series?

I have an offer to buy a used Canon 7D(I currently use a 550D), but on the other hand maybe her "replacement" should be available in the coming months, or maybe it's already in the stores...

What do you recommend - should I buy a used 7D or wait for the next one in this series?

Used 7D's are about $900 right now and should drop to about $750 when the new one comes out.The new one probably won't be here until mid summer at the earliest and will cost somewhere around $2,000 for the first few months.I would wait until the new one is announced to see if it has features that justify
spending the extra money.You won't lose much money on a 7D if you buy it now and then sell it if you decide on a new one.
