First RAW editing - Birds

Please let me know what your guys and gals think!

This may be my first time editing a RAW format image in Lightroom but I need to start somewhere! Don't go easy on my either, I need the CC!

That's better.

#2 is a great shot. Nice color good balance. Sharp and clear.

#1 could be cropped to about 75%, keeping the left side and zeroing in on the bird.

Overall, good!

Thankyou for the feedback! First time shooting raw and editing! So pretty pleased with the outcome, il post a few others tomorrow :)

Thankyou again for the feedback, I don't particularly know why i like the 1st one, i think it was the way the duck was waddling over towards me, but obviously was more of a thing when i took the photo than how the photo comes across.

I can see why you all like number two :) for obvious reasons!

PS. just for reference, both were shot with the 70-200 f4L
