Carousel Pictures

I wasn't sure if these belonged here or not. If not please move.

These were taken at the carousel at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, CT USA. I had gone down there to shoot the lighthouse and didn't even know this carousel was there. It was open just before the crowds came to ride.

Some very nice shots there. I'd try going back and getting some of the building, and even the carousel at night. I have some shots of the Columbia Carousel from Six Flags Great America somewhere, but I think I'll wait to get some with my T3i this coming season.

Thank you for your reply. I didn't know this carousel was there so I didn't plan for the shoot. Once I saw it I was struck by the art work of the horses etc. I know the carousel in Hartford, CT runs at night but I'm not sure of this one. The building this is in is large and the carousel is at one end with the remaining area used for tables and booths for special occasions. In fact they were setting up in that area the day I was there.
