that certain gel color

I'm looking to create a light pink gelled background but the closest one that came with my Rogue speedlite grid and gel kit was Follies Pink which is more of a magenta on my background. Is it possible to buy sheets of specific colors so that I can cut them into the round (and notched) shape that fit into my grid?

Scissors. Then you have lots of smaller ones. Generally they are cheap enough its just easier to order a sheet than it would be to deal with lesser sizes.

Do a search for a theater supply house in your area. They usually stock lots of gels. This way you can see them before you buy.

Or check the props guy at your local theatre - they might even have some offcuts you can pick up even cheaper.

The smoky pink came with my grid and it looks a lot more pink than in your other thread. I think the black background is making it look deeper too. Try a lighter grey or white background with that smokey pink one.

You can stack gels. I'm not sure what colors you have, but may want to experiment with stacking what gels you have and see if you can get a better color.
