Coyote On The Hunt

This Coyote was stalking a Desert Cottontail Rabbit. So focused on it's potential meal that it didn't even notice me standing 20ft away. Well, didn't notice me until I started firing off the shutter.

EDIT: About an hour after I got this shot, it came back. I used my 6D this time to get a shot of more of the surroundings. The sun had already been set for about 30 minutes so I did a B&W conversion since the colors were dull anyway. I like how it turned out.

Very nice shots of an elusive animal, usually not a fan of B&W but this one is very good.

Thanks, Yeah I really liked the B&W Version after seeing the color one. The Coyote almost looks like a Wolf. Thanks again for the kind words everyone.
