I spent the day today with the new 20D and a map of San Diego County. I started in the mountains, and ended up at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Soldiers who fell at the Battle of San Pasqual were the first to be laid to rest here in 1846. Now, over 50,000 have found their way here.
Fort Rosecrans overlooks the entrance to San Diego Bay on one side, and the Pacific Ocean on the other.
