Help me to decide

My lenses : Canon 50mm 1.8, Canon 70-200 4L, Tamron 28-75

I saved some money for a new lens and I'm thinking about 2 options :

1. replace my tamron 28-75 with the 24-105L
2. or get the 85mm 1.8

I like the range of the 24-105 but it seems some occurences of this lens are less sharp than the tamron. So for the moment I'm rather for the second option. What do you think ?

It really depends what you want to take pictures of... the 24-105 will give you both wider and longer focal lengths on what is probably a "walkabout" lens (vs the Tamron), whilst the 85 is brilliant for portrait work... give us a better idea of what you like to shoot

agree with the 85.. great for portraits... i got a 50mm 1.2 recently..so I'm actually planning to sell my 85mm 1.8 ... let me know if you're interested
