Thought I'd post these two shots taken a while ago on film and scanned by me on an Epson flatbed. The wild surf was shot on 1600iso and the calm on 400iso. I like them because they show two very different moods of the powerful ocean.

I like the first one, Bikerider. So much power in the waves and the people put a nice perspective on size.

I like # 2...there is power in serenity...It's like it minimilizes our beginings and existance...But they are both well done Biker.

Thanks for the feedback folks'......... for me the first image of a powerful and dangerous ocean with vulnerable humans close by shows how drawn we are to experience natural events. The big seas of that season were a real drawcard for a couple of weeks and it was free lol. The second scene appealed for it's sense of calm and the wonderfully shaped rocks of the breakwater, it seemed a natural for sepia toning. Ain't photography great!
