Nothing fancy, just a tree backlit by the sun.

I think this is a wonderful image!

The composition is quite effective, in subtle ways. It looks like you paid careful attention to the edges of the frame, as the right edge is nicely flanked by a dark OOF tree trunk, as is the bottom half of the left side edge. At the top, you use the small branch that protrudes from the trunk at an angle to nicely frame the top right corner.

Sky holes usually ruin images, but here you have managed to shoot from a position from which all of the sky holes - although numerous - are tiny. So tiny that your aperture was able to turn them into nice, classy-looking round dots of light. In this case, the sky holes are actually a credit to the image, which is quite uncommon to see.

My only nit-pik would be the small OOF branch in the upper right corner. It is bright with reflected light, like the sky holes, but it's shape is incongruous with the other shapes in the background, and hence it is a bit distracting. But that could be easily fixed.

The tree trunk itself is quite a worthy subject; it is rife with character!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I must say though, that the color didn't seem to come through very well for some reason. Is that something that happens with images from Flickr?
BTW thanks very much. My composition skills still need a lot of work.My images tend to have the question:but what is the focus?
I tend to get caught up in the moment, and what should happen naturally from taking images for so long, seem to go right out the window.
Maybe its just me, but sometime I literally get goosebumps, from happening to be at the right place at the right time, almost like magic in fact.
Granted If I planned things out better, it would happen more often, a good photographer I'm sure knows where the light is and chooses when he or she should be there.
