I went ahead and did it...50 f/1.4 and 85 f/1.8 are on their way to me

This essentially rounds out my lens collection for Glamour/Fashion. So, now I just need to get some lights, and I should be ready to really get going :)

You won't regret it. Those are my 2 favorite lenses in my collection. Even though I don't have L glass, I think those two are pretty wonderful. Enjoy them and post! You'll love the 50 1.4 in low light. It's really sharp.

My 50 should be here tomorrow...I owned it for several months before, but I'm still very excited to get it back! :-D

Two very nice lenses...enjoy.

There is a great rebate right now if you get both of them. I got mine from Amazon, but B&H has it the same price.

Wise move,friend. Those two gems more than hold their own against the two L zooms in my bag for image quality. I'm sure you'll be delighted with them.
