Got a new one of a Grey Catbird that I took over the summer and had forgotton about. Also just picked up a 7D, so I've been stalking a pair of Red-Bellied Woodpeckers as I attempt to learn it. As such, please excuse some of the noise issues... I think I got it figured out, and of course they wouldn't cooperate today.

Thanks! I'm ready for the Catbirds to be back as well! For such a "dull" bird, I just absolutely love them.

The Red Bellies are definitely pretty skittish. We've had a pair living outside of our front door for a few years, and they start their warning calls the second you step outside. Tough to sneak up on them.

Maybe tomorrow I'll get lucky, so I can see if the noise is any better with them now that I've adjusted some settings.
