Asking for suggestion, critics, tips....
I bought a basic off camera flash kit 2 lightstand,2 trough? white umbrella and savage super black paper 1 yn560-II and 430ex II using my 7D to trigger the slaves. We have a hometheater 13x25 that I now use part time small home studio for my family and friends, I am eager to learn for my family and friends and definitely not for the money (for now ;)) I love photography I started this hobby Aug/2010 started taking pics of birds, landscapes so tonight I took pics of my daughter with my new setup. I placed the flash from her left and right side pointed to her...please help how to improve...this pics are out from my camera without any pp. Thanks and please bear with the pics... This is my first try of this studio/off camera flash photography. THANKS

I like #2! The lights are pretty hot in a few of them, and there's a lot of WB variation. Looking good for a first try.

Set to flash and try so your white balance is consistent.
