I was in Yellowstone just before Christmas for a few days. On this particular day I was headed back to the snow cat when I saw this old, dead, gnarled tree off in the distance. So I ruined all this beautiful virgin snow trying to get to this spot and try to do this tree some justice. Comments always welcomed and respected.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

It is really hard to see the subject tree on my monitor. Perhaps a larger image or a tighter crop would help. My eye keep distracted by the foreground tree.

+1

I didn't even notice the subject tree until I looked around a bit. Maybe try adding slight vignette to draw attention to it.
