After going back and forth trying to decide between the 100-400 and the 400 prime I decided on the 400. The lens was delivered today. I am looking forward to the next sunny days in order to take this baby for a test ride.

Jan 18, 2013 17:29 | #3 The 400 will likely be my next lens...probably going to wait a couple month to purchase otherwise I'm going to end up with frostbite fingers in this New England winter. I'm actually struggling with the sale of my 2.0X TC because it could give me a decent 800mm manual focus lens for a relatively cheap price tag.
