Starved Rock Eagles

No pictures, just a report.

Any of you who have been wondering, there are Eagles at Starved Rock S.P. in pretty good numbers. Despite the open water, the Eagles have been gathering there. My wife and I saw as many as 7 Eagles at one time from the Lock & Dam at Starved Rock.

If you have been there you know that the roosting area is not very close. With my equipment, I was not able to get any pictures worth posting.

LOL, not really so bad. I got nice shots for showing my friends on the internet (they are not so discerning as the folks here) and we had a wonderful time watching the Eagles.
