Ooops! I have just realised that your images are linked to, not embedded, so my criticism of the file sizes of the first batch was over harsh. Apologies.
I like your compositions. No.4 has a colour cast which could be improved in Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop - what software do you have?

LOL - I use Paint Shop Pro!
The principles should be similar. I took your image and adjusted RGB as follows - green up 10%, blue down 7% and red up 7%. I had one of your other images open beside me to try and match the overall colour balance of your shoot. Then I did a general tidy up - contrast up a tad, highlights down, shadows up. I sharpened it a bit.
Here is the result. You may not like it - these things are very subjective. I learned by trial and error - and a lot of advice in forums like this one.

In the meantime ........ John - maybe you (or anyone else looking in) could explain to me how your linked (not embedded) images appear in your posts but all get is a URL which has to be clicked on. I am quite new here and not quite sure how it is all done.
Blind leading the blind methinks LOL!

That's better. Obvious really.
What did you think of my mangling efforts, John? Be honest. I am just a keen amateur. Most of my image manipulation experience is self taught work on images from an Olympus digital compact. Not the good kit we've both got now, eh?

Thanks Mike that is a good job, I never had the time to sit down and really get to grips with it as the kids were still off school. Ther are back now so more time to play.

Glad you liked it. Altering RGB can really salvage a rogue image from an otherwise well balanced shoot.
Happy shooting!:)
