You will find many samples of what it can do in the nature and animals forum here. It's my most used lens and I myself love it. So really have a look through there, or do a search on posts in there under my name and you will see quite a few samples. Cheers Wayne

I don't see a whole lot of difference between the Bigma and 100-400L at similar focal lengths but the prime shines. I like the idea of a lot of zoom with very good quality and for $400-500 less then the 100-400 I can't justify stepping up for my needs. EOS 20D w/ BG-E2
