I love the whole vibe of Harvard/Cambridge area and the old structures would provide great photo opps. I have to shoot there sometime soon, esp when the snow is fresh. Daman

I want two feet of snow in 24 hours...ice hanging from trees, snow plows doing damage to sidewalks, etc., etc. All we've gotten thus far has been rain - except for that freak storm in December for which I was in sunny Florida for...I feel jipped!!! The pit, if you don't know, is the area where people just hang around in. If you stand there long enough, you'll notice that you'll have skateborders, professors/education types, musicians, pot heads, homeless people, etc. all in the same 50X50 area. Now THAT makes for great captures...add the snow and faghedabowdit. Spot on Don,that place is a Goldmine! There's so much activity going on there as you said plus lot of artists performing in the pit and one thing which i think would make nice capture is people playing chess at a nearby resturant(i forget its name). Ive hung around that area several times but not since i got into photography- need to do that soon. Also hoping we don't get a late winter cause of all this weather(thatll cut my motorcycle riding season short as well )Yea, you're talking about Au Bon Pain...right outside there are chess boards. As a matter of fact, that's where they shot a scene for Good Will Hunting...the scene where Matt Damon is chatting with his girlfriend and he's explaining to her how he is a math wiz. Don Martelli
